Tarantulas.com Classified Ad Posting Rules and Terms of Service

If this account is registered under a business name, the owner of the business must be listed, and NOT an employee.

Only 1 account is allowed per business or individual.

You may post advertisements for yourself and/or your business only.

You may NOT post advertisments for other businesses or individuals, regardless of whether they are friends or family members. This account is established in the name of a SINGLE ENTITY. If more than one person is found to be using a single account without prior permission, that account will be IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED with no notice or warning. If a person OTHER than the one listed in the registration form is found using the account the account will be terminated. Anyone found violating this rule is committing Theft of Service and may be prosecuted as such.

Vendors are responsible for their own ads, and any and all complaints or legal issues arising from them.

Multiple posts - please try to avoid repetitious ads. We allow the same ad to be placed no more than 3 times in a week. Any more than that will be deleted.

Off Topic Products - This is an invertebrate only classifieds. We do not allow advertisements for long distance service, computers, telephones, VCRs, weapons, multi level marketing businesses or anything else that is not directly related to invertebrates.

Competing Classifieds/Hosting Services/Banner Ads - We don't allow people that sell services that directly compete with our primary business to advertise their competing products on our site.

Anyone using Tarantulas.com, or its other related sites and/or features to post pornography, profanity, possibly libelous or slanderous, racist, or threatening messages will immediately have their account terminated. Persons using Tarantulas.com to post warnings or notices about other persons or businesses, whether Tarantulas.com vendors or not, will immediately have their account terminated. If you have a complaint against a person or business, file it don't post it. File your complaints with our abuse coordinator at abuse@tarantulas.com

Autojump Scripts in ads - We do not allow the posting of advertisements with any type of "Autojump" that re-directs users off of our web site automatically or opens another browser window, or any other type of "POP-UP".

Ads that have no product - Your advertsiement must be selling, trading or wanting something invertebrate related. It must have a specific product or animal, or group of animals offered for sale, trade, or wanted in the advertisement itself. We do not allow ads that just say "come to my web site for details" in the body. Our classifieds are not here to "build" your web site traffic, they are here to help you sell, buy, or trade invertebrates or invertebrate related products or services. If you want to build your web sites traffic, buy banner ads or other advertizing that we offer.

Posting Messages - Posting messages of any nature that are not specifically ADVERTISEMENTS related to invertebrates, invertebrate related products or services, is prohibited, and will be removed. We have an invertebrates FORUM located at http://www.tarantulas.com/forum.asp designed for posting non-advertisement related questions.

Vendor Complaints - All vendors have a 3 complaint rule. Get 3 complaints and you have to resolve them ALL before we can allow you to post again. The one exception are any complaints regarding non-delivery of goods or theft. These are grounds for immediate termination of your membership.

Being Abusive, belligerent, or argumentative to Staff - All of the services we provide, whether its classifieds or forums, we provide as a service, and grant you the privilege to use them. If you violate that privilege, we may contact you and ask you to stop. If you persist or become abusive, belligerent, argumentative with an employee, we have the right and the ability to revoke your Membership and cancel your services.

Anyone who has had their Membership terminated for complaints, violations of our terms of service, or any other site bans may NOT re-register in any format, under any circumstances. Attempting to circumvent this system by registering under the name of a friend, family member, or any form of alias, will cause the account to be immediately terminated, and will be prosecuted for fraud. Anyone who knowingly assists someone in fraudulently obtaining an account, will have their site services canceled and will themselves be banned, and prosecuted for fraud.

Any violations of the terms listed above that cause your account to be terminated will cause any and all registration or advertising fees paid to be forfeit to Tarantulas.com.

Tarantulas.com reserves the right to change these terms of service with little or no prior notice.

Tarantulas.com reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or cancel any account or refuse service at our discretion.

The above terms are considered a contract between the registrant and Tarantulas.com under the laws of the State of Washington. By agreeing to the terms listed above you are agreeing that any and all legal conflicts with Tarantulas.com arising from your use of this or any other Tarantulas.com product, service, or feature, will be resolved in the Washington State court system.

Tarantulas.com Forums Posting Rules and Terms of Service

Posting messages in forums threatening violence of ANY SORT will be dealt with severely and to the full extent of the law. All posts threatening violence will be reported to the the appropriate enforcement agencies for prosecution.

The Forums exist so that individuals can post questions or comments relating to invertebrates. This is an INVERTEBRATES ONLY forum. Please do not post messages that are off topic, ie, not related to invertebrates. They will be deleted. Repeated abuses could result in a termination of your membership.

Advertising anything is prohibited here. Please use the "Classifieds Section" for this.

Posting potentially libelous or slanderous messages, posting warnings about companies or individuals, posting notices about bad deals or dealers, or posting personal attacks about companies or individuals is a violation.

Posting under another users name and/or email address is a violation.

Posting copyrighted documents or photographs without the owners permission is a violation and is illegal.

Posting pyramid schemes and get rich quick offers is propagating mail fraud and violators will be turned in to the US Postmaster.

Posting obscene materials and/or profanity, or racial or religious slurs to this web site is inappropriate and is a violation of Tarantulas.com's Terms of Service policy.

E-Mailing obscene materials and/or profanity, or racial or religious slurs to the Tarantulas.com staff is a violation of Tarantula.com's Terms of Service policy.

Please note that every post that you make bears your actual address in the form of an IP address that is easily traced back to you.

This website has a no second chance policy with offenders. Be aware that if you violate our Terms of Service, Tarantulas.com may delete your messages, contact your internet service provider, have your membership terminated, cancel your advertising, and will block your access to our web site as applicable.
