Brachypelma emilia
The Mexican Painted Redleg is
a terrestrial species, indigenous to the mountainous
areas of southern Mexico. This Brachypelma species
is relatively small in size, reaching an average
of four to five inches in leg span as adults.
Although the Painted Redleg is not aggressive,
they will flick urticating hairs if provoked.
