The Indian Ornamental is one of the most beautiful of the tarantulas, with their colorful black, gray and white markings that resemble the intricacies of a tapestry. These spiders are arboreal and are indigenous to the forests of southeast India, living in tree hollows and behind loose tree bark. These animals are very quick and unpredictable, therefore should not be handled.
